Night in Kharabsheh

I stepped outside of my apartment and saw this crescent moon rising over Masjid An-Noor (Mosque of Light). Venus was setting just above. One of the neat aspects of following a lunar calendar as Muslims do is that the moon is also a calendar. The sliver means Ramadan has just begun.
