Honey Centrifuge

He showed us how they extract the honey: the wooden slats are fitted into a centrifuge and then spun around. I suppose it works rather like a salad spinner. At the bottom of the centrifuge was a thin film of fresh honey. He rubbed some on his hands to demonstrate that it wasn't sticky. If it was sticky he said it was proof that the bees were being fed sugar.
