A trip to a bee farm

One day Saeed (not seen in the picture) proposed the idea of going to visit a bee farm he had seen in the nearby Zay National Forest. Amjad still had his rental car so Shawal, Hussein, Amjad, Saeed and I all piled in after class and we went for a little adventure.

Along the way we accidentally mistook a private driveway for the entrance to the Forest and found ourselves on a stunningly beautiful estate. From the driveway we saw a man and his friend reclining on a balcony high above us and they were happy to give us directions (and invite us for tea).

When we got up to the balcony I had a hard time believing this was the "Middle East". It looked far more like a valley of California.
