Trip to Egypt

With a week off for the Eid holidays my friend Amer and I decided to take a trip to Egypt to buy books and do some sight seeing. Buying books in the Arab world is somewhat like buying books in America before the days of Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon.com. You go to bookstores, see what they have in stock, and if they don't have what you want, well then, they don't have what you want. Try again next month.

Egypt is much better for books than Jordan. One store we wandered into, at left, printed books in the back as well.
